Tina Barnes

Tina is an actress from The West Midlands.  She trained at drama school in Birmingham, before moving to London to pursue her career.

She has since had roles in Doctors, Emmerdale, Holby City and The Bill.  She has had many lead supporting roles in independent British films, most of these displaying her physical, fight and stunt skills.

Tina has played in various commercials and can be seen here in the UNISON advert for the NHS campaign.

Theatre credits include: Lady Macbeth at The Blue Orange Theatre, an adaptation called Lady Macbeth & her Servants; The Kaos Dream, Kaos Theatre, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in which she played Hermia, and several fringe productions.

Tina has worked on feature length screenplays and shorts for independent film companies around the UK.  She enjoys writing poetry and prose and is currently working on a children's book.  Her favourite genres to write are sci-fi, dark comedy and drama. 

She loves travelling and learning, with a particular interest in astronomy, planetary science and ancient history.  She also enjoys Thai boxing, martial arts, hiking and commercial & contemporary dance.
